Top Three Criteria for Your Choice

It is always difficult to control our future. In fact, it is almost impossible. Still, there are certain spheres where you should not hope for the luck of the draw. We are talking about the process of choosing the college. When choosing a college, you should act as a skilled tactician, try to foresee your future as far as you can and make the right choice. A very good step will be to write down several basic criteria for the college and to make your choice on their basis. Thus, you will create an image of an ideal college and you will accurately direct your search.

Top three criteria to guide your choice

Academic criterion. This is the basic criterion that should determine your choice. Remember that though student life promises great fun, new friends, parties, romantic relationship and many other interesting things, you should keep in mind that your primary goals will be to get a degree. This is why academic criterion should be the first one when you are choosing the college.

Location. You should decide on the desired geographical location of your future college.

If you have problems with health, you should take into account the advice of your doctor. Maybe you need warm climate; maybe you need maritime air or oxygen-enriched air. In this case, you can kill two birds with one stone: choose a suitable college and get getter physically.

If you find it comfortable to stay at home, to be with your family, if you think that parting with your parents and friends can harm you and will make you feel unhappy, find a college near your home town.

Size. The basic question you should ask yourself when deciding on the size of the college is as follows: Do you want to change your life or do you feel pretty comfortable about the present state of things? If you want to change your life, try to choose something new: if you life in a small town, choose a college in a large city. If you are absolutely satisfied with your life, choose a college of the size of your school.
